PREPARING FOR FEBRUARY

The Month of February hold two prominent time periods. Firstly, it is Black History Month for America, so the SGA will be coordinating events to commemorate our Black History. Secondly, February holds Valentine's Day, which usually turns into a Valentine's Week. So, the SGA will also be preparing a Valentine's Dance and looking for other possibilities for the week of V-Day.

For Black History Month, I am thinking of having a drama production as a Town Hall. If I can gather enough resources, etc for this idea, then I will need a lot of volunteers for stage set-up and casting. Be on the lookout!

For my Council Members, please know that when the Second Semester begins, we are back in business. January 8th, 2014 will be our first meeting of the Semester and I expect all members in Mr. Ellis' room by 7:30, no later. I am considering the re-election for class representatives, but I will likely decide not to go forward with it, as it seems unnecessary atm.
